P.A.R.T.S. PRESENTS

P.A.R.T.S. PRESENTS is the name for public performances of P.A.R.T.S. students, organised by the school, presenting the results of workshops and projects within the curriculum. It stands next to the more informal P.A.R.T.S.@WORK presentations which are organised and curated by the students.

P.A.R.T.S. PRESENTS TRIOS

P.A.R.T.S. PRESENTS Trios by Generation XV will take place on Tuesday 23.06 and Thursday 25.06.

The trio format, working with live music, was established as a creative task. Through collaboration and engagement with the predetermined element of music, the students were tasked with exploring the generation of movement and then composing those movements into choreography in relation to the musical score. Over the course of six-weeks, each trio was supported and guided through the collaborative process by an assigned mentor. This month, we present some of these trios to the public, offering an insight into this collaborative process.

ZOZOMBRER
What happens when two beings are deprived of their sight?
This question became the starting point of our movement research. Through
experimentation with the music and our bodies, recurring images emerged, building an
internal narrative that shaped the universe we were creating.
The performance explores primitive and intuitive reactions -through instinct, perception, and connection.

Dancers: Krisia Sevilla Robles and Noah Bruyninckx
Musician: Joseph Chan (viola)
Music: Dunes for Solo Viola by Raffaele Longo
Mentor: Gabriel Schenker

After You

How much can we ask from each other and ourselves, until we have the permission?
Exploring boundaries that were agreed upon, our relationship keeps shifting. Chivalry,
passion, distance and unnamable forms of attachment unfold in the historical atmosphere of
a baroque court.

Dancers: Lea Kiss, Sofia Vide Alves
Musicians: Jennifer Blom (baroque double bass & electronics), Nolan Ehlers (drums), Ghazal Faghihi (historical clarinet & electronics), Blanca Prieto (baroque violin)
