Rakesh Sukesh IN

Rakesh Sukesh, an artistic force bridging Bharat (India) and Belgium, commands the stage as
a multifaceted performer, choreographer, teacher, and producer. He draws from his familial
roots in yogic philosophy, earning accreditation from the esteemed Shivananda Yoga Centre,
and refines his craft in dance through Kalaripayattu and contemporary techniques under
masters like Jaychandran Palazy and Dil Sagar, alongside mentors Katie Duck and David
Zambrano.

Collaborating as performer with renowned troupes such as Ultima Vez, Roosana & Kenneth
Company, and Bollwerk, Rakesh crafts choreographies that resonate deeply, including
acclaimed works like "A Dream of Silence," "Yatra," and "May Us Bless the I."
Currently, he is touring his latest solo production, "because I love the diversity (this-micro- attitude we all have it) which promises a profound exploration of racism and micro-attitudes, this piece was commissioned and premier at Push Festival Vancouver in 2024.

Over a transformative 14-year journey, Rakesh pioneers the Intact Method-Interconnected
dance practice, garnering global acclaim for its fusion of yogic principles, Kalaripayattu, and
contemporary dance. Armed with a Master's in Arts and Culture Management, he spearheads
the international dance festival Sanskar and curates the esteemed Dance Screen film festival
in Switzerland, shaping the cultural landscape with his visionary leadership.
