Fase at Body of Work Festival

Our third-year students will dance their own idiosyncratic versions of Fase on Sunday March 9th during Body of Work Festival at STUK in Leuven.

Six students got to work with the material of Fase during an intensive repertoire workshop led by Laura-Maria Poletti (Rosas). They learned the original movement material of Piano Phase and Come Out. For their versions of Violin Phase and Clapping, the students themselves created new material and personal transformations, starting from the underlying choreographic principles of the original.

Both individually and collectively, they enter into dialogue with the original work and what it means to them today. Expect a unique take by the new generation!
