Biography Adem Ouhaibia

Adem Ouhaibia is a Brussels-based choreographer and dancer from Annaba, Algeria. After having worked for a couple of years with breaking and contemporary dance in Algeria, Adem decided to study contemporary dance in Brussels. In 2022 he graduated with a Bachelor of arts and is currently busy with his master studies in choreography at P.A.R.T.S. Adem is now focussing on making work combining his knowledge of breaking/ hip hop and contemporary dance. Within his creations, he adopts the essence of minimalism, channeling his intent towards crafting harmony in composition and flow. He is inspired by everyday gestures and poetry through which he tries to create a common floor, on which the maker, the performers and the audience meet and form a landscape.
